Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 April 2026

These terms govern your use of ThinkWell (the "app"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. You agree not to share your account with anyone else.

Your content

Everything you write in the app — entries, entities, relationships, preferences — is yours. You grant us only the minimum licence needed to store and process it for you, including sending prompts derived from your content to AWS Bedrock so the Life Map and Insights features can work. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train any model.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to store or process illegal content, content that infringes someone else's rights, or content designed to harm others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

AI-generated content

The app uses AI (AWS Bedrock / Anthropic Claude) to extract entities, suggest connections and produce insights from your writing. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or biased. Treat it as a suggestion, not a fact. You are responsible for deciding what to keep and what to discard.

Third-party services

ThinkWell optionally integrates with Spotify so you can attach the track you were listening to when you wrote an entry. Use of that feature is subject to Spotify's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. ThinkWell is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by Spotify. You can disconnect the integration at any time in Settings → Spotify. See the Spotify section of our Privacy Policy for details on what data is accessed and how it is stored.

Availability

The app is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or for the loss of any content. Always keep your own backup of anything you would be upset to lose.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Doing so permanently removes all your content from our servers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
